It would seem counter-intuitive to say "open your fucking eyes" for a work composed primarily of sound, and yet I suppose we should know better than to make such sensible distinctions. These recordings have been made over the course of 28 years in varying degrees of conscientious documentation, manipulation and attempt to describe.
